Robert, Roverpass did refund you after the dispute was settled! Additionally, you agreed to a "nonrefundable reservation" which is very clearly stated before you book with us. Your dates were Oct 5-12th in which no deposit was required. Thank you for the review and we know the campground closing after the flood was an inconvenience for everyone!

Campground Response
Sorry you had a bad experience here. Our campground is not for everyone. And by law our water is regularly tested for safety, so others reading this know there is nothing to fear. We in fact only have a bath house for regular use. The porta-potties were left over from a recent event and had not been picked up. We do not keep porta-potties here for regular use. I apologize our bath house facilities were not to your liking.

We're sorry you had a difficult time with us and less than satisfying experience. We have recently put up signs on our bath house to close the doors at night to keep mosquitoes out of that area. Mosquitoes in general there's not much to be done. (Besides they feed the fish that make our trout fishing renowned.) As for the bath house, the faucets are not hooked up to the hot water. But the showers most certainly are. Following this review we went down and checked to make sure the on-demand water heater was working for the showers and it was. Again, we're sorry for your bad experience.

Campground Response
We're so sorry for your bad experience. The amperage problem was fixable if the staff had known you were incorrectly assigned to a 30AMP site, but there was no communication during your stay about either of these two issues. The water was not immediately fixable, but there are few viable solutions to the well water in this area, except to fill your containers and wait. There's no trace of sulphur in less than 12 hours. We have many loyal and returning customers year after year, who love us. Again, we're sorry it was not a good fit for you.
