The Bison Plant Trail is a hiking and biking trail for the whole family! It is located nearby and popular all year long. Also, it's a great spot for birding!

Nice quiet campground except for the occasional train. A little tight for a class A motorhome but manageable.

Unfortunately we are light sleepers and the only complaint is the "TRAINS"! I realize that Matt is still working in progress on other things, like WIFI. The sites are excellent with plenty of room, Thank You for our night stay.

Great campground with a lot of established trees. Brought the bicycle with for the kiddo, who had a blast riding the trail around the campground. Excellent mosquito control. There are train tracks nearby, but they didn’t bother us. Owner was great to visit with. If we head out to this part of the state again, we’ll be back!

Next to the railroad and did not feel so safe with it being so close to our site. Loved the wilderness and was private. Difficult to find our spot.

It’s a new campground, so definitely a work-in-progress. One FHU site which we used—gravel a bit uneven the 1st night but Matt added some the next day and it was perfectly level when we returned! As another poster commented, the sewer connection is about 6-8 inches from the water faucet. Unfortunately it is also about 6 inches higher than the sewer connection on the motorhome so no hope of gravity drainage. Also no breaker on power post. Cell signal non existent on phone however was able to get stable signal on cell sim router.

Nice campground. Easy access to the city. Very nice walking biking trail near by. Close to a kayak canoe launch on the river. If I could make one suggestion, some hooks to hang closes and a towel on in the shower rooms would be very nice.

Amazing campground, and amazing owners! I had a great time and would definitely be back! They have only been open a year, so it will be cool to see how it is in another couple years, they seem to have plans for a few more things, and probably more ideas will come. And if not then it’s still perfect how it is!

Nice campground. Friend staff!!! I wish we had seen somewhere that there was no picnic tables on sight. If that listed somewhere, it was not easy to see. That one issue did cause us stress. Tring to cook and feed small kids without a table is difficult. I very well my come back to this campground, there is lots there to enjoy, wewill now know to bring a table.

Campground Response

Hi Steve! We are sad about the picnic table situation! We did end up being short a couple of tables this year, and unfortunately your site was one of the 2 spots that didn't get one. :-( We are building wooden tables to replace the plastic ones. We hope you come back, and we will make sure you get a table!
