Little Oso Primitive Campground

Lose yourself in the tall pines of the Little Oso Primitive Campground at the Heron Lake State Park in New Mexico. The lake is designated a "quiet lake," so boat operators cannot ride at wake speeds. As such, get ready for some peace and quiet during your next vacation, and excellent conditions for kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing. And of course, enjoy great fly fishinf of trout and salmon, all against the gorgeous mountain backdrop of the lake. Also enjoy hiking, biking and winter sports such as cross country skiing and snow boarding. 

The park is primitive, so amenities are limited to toilets and picnic tables. The area is beautiful and there's tons to do. See you soon!
