Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Inverter generators are exempted from quiet time as follows: to power medical devices, for climate control during times of extreme heat or cold.

Vehicles

Vehicles limited to (2) per site, including ATV's/UTV's. Vehicles must not block roadway access, or encroach on an adjacent campsite(s). No unattended vehicles or RV's allowed. Unattended vehicles or RV's may be towed at owner's expense. Speed limit is 5 MPH at all times on Scott River Camp property.

Visitors

Visitors are persons not registered at Campers. Camp guests are responsible for advising Caretaker(s)/Asst. Caretaker(s) if expecting day or night visitors. All visitors must check in with a Scott River Camp Staff member. Campsite occupancy for overnight visitors and vehicle limit applies. The person under whose name the campsite reservation appears is responsible for the conduct of their visitor(s).

Children

Parents are responsible for supervising their children's safety and behavior at all times while at Scott River Camp. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the shower and porta potty areas. Children are not allowed on the Berm of the Camp's settling pond. Two rivers run through the Scott River Camp property. Life jackets are recommended when children are on the banks of the Scott or Klamath Rivers, or while swimming in either river.

Pet Rules

All pets must be registered with the Scott River Camp Office with current rabies certificate on file. Animals must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at campsite. Animals may not be tethered to camp utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees or fences. Animal waste must be picked up by the pet owner anywhere on Scott River Camp property. There is a $50 camp fine assessed for failing to pick up pet waste.

Porta-Potty and Shower Facilities

Porta-potties: Located in the Upper Camp, adjacent to the dumpsters, and are for the use of Camp guests and visitors. No trash of any type, other than the provided toilet paper, may be put into the holding tank of the porta-potty, even if an items claims biodegradable, compostable, etc. Shower: Scott River Camp has (1) shower available for guest use. Please remove all personal items when you leave the shower.

BBQ/Grills/Campfire/Fireworks/Firearms

BBQ/Grills: Use of propane or self-contained wood-burning grills are permitted based on Wildfire conditions per US Forest Service, and Siskiyou County. Ask Caretakers what will be permissible upon arrival. Campfires: No fires may be built on the ground in the Upper Camp area. Small warming fires may be built in the lower camp based on Wildfire conditions. Ask Caretaker(s) about conditions upon arrival. Fireworks: Fireworks are prohibited at all times on the Scott River Camp property. Firearms: Scott River Camp requires all firearms, of any type, to remain secure in our guest's vehicle, RV, or tent. Discharging a weapon in Camp may result in law enforcement being called, and possible expulsion from Camp with no refund or credit for unused portions of the guest(s) stay.

Garbage

Dumpsters are conveniently located in the middle of the Upper Camp. Please bag all garbage thrown into the dumpsters. No hazardous material or substance(s) may be disposed of the the Camp's dumpsters.

Trees

Trees, and the shade they provide, are an integral part of an enjoyable Scott River Camp experience. However, trees do pose a natural hazard of falling debris, such as leaves and branches, especially during windy and/or extreme weather conditions. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result. Please take this into consideration when parking in Scott River Camp and while enjoying the camp.

Loss, Damages & Claims

Park management is not responsible for loss, damages or claims to property of guests due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause. The management also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Having in possession weapons such as firearms, knives, chains, etc. while outside a personal camping vehicle is not permitted on property. Scott River Camp closes certain sites and areas of property for landscaping and maintenance throughout the season.
