We had a wonderful time at the camp. We had originally booked for three nights, but ended up extending our stay so we could participate in their push dig. What fun!! The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable. The other campers were friendly and helpful. The meals during the dirt party were absolutely yummy!! They have equipment you can rent/try out… or bring your own. We had our 40’ class A, towing our Jeep. There was power and water. Garbage is at the end of the camp. The site was level and well tended. What a great experience we had! We will be back next year! Thank you! Patti and Glenn

The campgrounds did supply water and electricity. I had no information on where to put garbage or if there was a dump station. It looked more like a place with long-term trailers. My sight was level. I thought there could have been better signage even to the point where you have to let your self in and then chain up the gate after your self. The woman on the phone was very nice and cheerful.

A great LDMA camp. Caretakers are great hosts and knowledgeable about prospecting. I enjoy the experience every time I stay there.

Was hoping to like this campground as I have an interest in Gold Panning . This is a place for full time prospectors not the general camper. When checking in at the office was greeted by a person that just pointed out my site for the night didn’t say hello or explain anything about anything. I realize it’s a working Mining claim so it is full of equipment and assorted junk it was just very unprofessional and I felt very unwelcome . Would have liked to get some information on what they do there . Some of the other tenants at least waved which helped but it felt like we pulled into the movie Wrong Turn. They list some fun sounding weekends of activities but guess I picked the wrong time for a visit. Just not for me very disappointed.

Staff was friendly, had electrical and water, great place to stay when passing through. Right off the highway and secure behind a gate up a private drive.

I love this campground. If only got a 4 rating because it doesn't have a dump station yet. The sites are clean and the caretakers are great.
