Las Vegas, New Mexico KOA

(1) Review

76 Romeroville Frontage Road, Las Vegas, NM, 87701

Filled with history, Las Vegas New Mexico is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the colorful past of the state. This KOA is close to the Santa Fe trail used by Billy the Kid, and was once used by thousands of travelers, journeying across the southwest in wagons. The park is popular for its stellar views as it sits at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountain, and is surrounded by juniper and pinions. 900 historic buildings and wagon-wheel ruts highlight the area's past, while the lakes and national wildlife refuge highlight its natural wonders. Whether you're in love with hiostory or nature (or both), you're certain to be well-entertained at this park.

Amenities include: a pool, pavilion, snack bar, bike rentals, firewood, 50 amp sites and a pavilion. See you soon!

Office check-in great, camp site dirt and gravel but had trees between campers. Two problems: no water pressure (sign at check-in says low pressure-gravity fed) and the cafe could not cook breakfast-30 minute wait. The one handy man must be cook, propane filler, etc. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
