Lake Piru is located in Ventura County, California, in the Los Padres National Forest next to the Sespe Condor Sanctuary. You would never know it floating on our peaceful lake, but we are less than an hour away from Los Angeles. Visitors to our campground can also enjoy the uncrowded beaches of Ventura or Hollywood and Universal Studios. Lake Piru offers level tree-shaded camping sites, clean restrooms, coin operated hot showers and a fully stocked store to meet most camping and boating needs. Motor homes, trailers and truck campers are welcome. Lake Piru has paved roads, tree-shaded sites, and a convenient dump station. We also have Two Group campsites available for your family reunion & big get together. Wifi is also available in the Olive Grove Campground. When choosing a campsite below is the list of different campsite types you can choose from here at Lake Piru. Please note that all campsites do come with a Picnic table & firering with a grill top. Reservations are taken and confirmed in person, over the phone or by email. We must receive your reservations request at least 1 week prior to the indicated date of arrival. Lake Piru Recreation Area is a campground located on 4780 Piru Canyon Road in Piru, CA. The site includes water, sewer, showers, electricity. You can also do activities such as Kayaking, boating, fishing, and stand-up paddleboards.

At Plaskett Creek there is a parking area at front of campground and there is a $5.00 charge. At Kirk Creek you would have to park your extra vehicle on Hwy 1. Limekiln is very tight on space and only 2 vehicles in the facility per site and some sites will only accommodate one at your site.
Pets are allowed in developed campgrounds and user facilities, and must be kept on leash at all times – unless they are in the Off Leash Dog Park (just north of the Day Use Area). Pets are NOT allowed in the water at any time.
