Small spaces, our 30 MC just fit, NO WIFI, don't waste your money staying here.

Great View of Lake Norman from the site we were assigned. The staff was courteous and professional

I will start with the staff is phenomenally helpful, kind and generous. Location is great, very well maintained, with nice common area lakeside. They are converting their lots into tiny homes and the spots for campers is very limited and very compact. No longer, what I would consider an RV park. We had a 40’ motorhome and that was probably bigger than what they should allow. Trailers are different animals, so fit in the tight spaces better. So, rating is due to the space of the site. If you don’t want to sit at the campsite, and prefer the common areas, this is the spot for you.

The people are amazing. It’s nice, clean and all around a perfect place to stay. Mrs Betty and Eddie are so pleasant and sweet. Great people to deal with. Mr. Eddie was there to support and help me when my black tank fail happened. That’s an unspeakable kind of gratitude and thanks! I will be back many times. The Lake view in addition to the people and atmosphere. This is the place to be.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Pros-beautiful sunsets, quiet, friendly service, free kayaks, peddle boats, and paddle boards, clean and close to other attractions, has a fenced dog park. Cons-sites extremely close to each other, map shows a pool but there isn’t one, converting to a tiny house community so map is inaccurate regarding site availability. Big rigs-We have a 40’ 5th wheel and a full size bed on our truck. The air conditioners on the end of the tiny houses and overall narrowness of the street/houses/RVs almost prevented us from getting into our site. Our truck was within a few inches of touching the AC units and once parked the camper was within inches of the retaining wall behind us. However it was easy to pull out. Also, anyone with joint issues needs to know it’s a little steep getting to and from the shore from the sites. I’m in decent shape and could feel it when I repeatedly took my dogs to the doggie park. They have stairs but it would still be an issue for people with joint issues. We would stay again but not in our current rig. Just too stressful to park in the sites they still have available for RVs. I would recommend for folks wanting a tiny house experience.

Great site! The view of the lake was beautiful and watching the sunsets was spectacular. The park was quiet and friendly. The amenities were above and beyond. Free access to kayaks and SUP boards! The rv site itself was well maintained and level. The electric and water hookups were very well maintained and designed. I’d stay her over and over again!!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stop overnight while traveling south. We found this campground online and decided to try it. It didn’t disappoint. The view of the lake was spectacular! The staff was attentive and very helpful. The campground was clean and well maintained. I would definitely visit again.

Place is gorgeous and clean. Staff is very friendly. However, they are converting all sites to tiny homes. Such a shame for the RV Community.

Nice place and views. Unfortunately, with the size of the sites, the hitching area, and the roads in the park, it should be called a campground, not a motor coach resort.

This was a clean resort with amenities such as free to use paddle boards and kayaks it was not my favorite place to stay. The property is tiered and the roads are quite steep. The spots for RV parking although cement were cracked and not level. It seems they are transitioning to tiny homes and not really interested in RV's anymore.

Super location, superior staff, excellent facilities! Visited in a 2019 45 ft Newmar Mountain Aire (4515). If staying here ensure you alert the management team of your coach size and foot print. Limited slots for larger RV’s. Let their team help getting you into and out of your site. DO NOT Try this without their help! Watch out for clearing their office and retaining walls. Enjoyed kayaking, workout and theater facilities. All offered within your fees. Can’t compliment them enough. Tryout the Steak House across the street.

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Norman. The grounds were beautiful, clean, and all the employees extremely friendly. Eddie even wiped out our paddle boat before we used it. They also had great amenities, including a game room and theater. Only reason for four stars instead of five is it was extremely hard to pull out of. Our spot was at the end of the lower row; which made pull in and out very difficult, we had to back out of the entire park when leaving. There were also a lot of sink holes on the property that for safety reasons they should fix as quickly as possible to avoid someone getting hurt. Would still highly recommend this resort despite the few issues. The good far outweighed the bad.

Not a motorcoach resort at all. Mostly a tiny cabin camp with a bunch of long term travel trailers and 5th wheels. Beautiful location. Nice & cool even in September. Friendly people. Reasonably well maintained. But not worthy of motorcoach resort (there is no loop on the grounds... we had to back out of the park!).

Our first time here and we enjoyed it!! Positives - Nice view from the front window of the coach. Nice big clean dog park for playing fetch (would be nice to have a little shade and a bench for the humans) Free water toys, kayaks, sup, peddle boats with life jackets available. Nice and helpful staff Trash pick up on site Negatives - sites can be tight for bigger rigs One way in and out which means backing out of your spot and up a hill and through the gate (for class A) No beach area for small children and no pool. (If they can swim they can jump off the dock and there is a ladder to get up) There is a small ramp to walk into the water but it's pretty dirty in that area for swimming. Overall a great place to stay on the lake!

The lake was nice, but the campground had very small sites & hardly any amenities.

We stayed four nights. Very nice campground. Lots of things to do there with clean and updated facilities. Staff very friendly amd helpful. The only complaint is how tight the camp sites are for parking. However staff were very accommodating to help us park and also pull out. Beautiful sunset views over the lake. Most sites have a view of the lake even in the back because of the elevated sites. I highly recommend this place. We will return!

Beautiful, clean and well maintained park. Not big rig friendly though. First time in all our 49 state travels we have had to back out of our site and out of the park. The park team were great help though. I think they are trying to become a tiny park home park and not a RV park since they have way more of them than RV spots. We camped in a 40’ and 45’ motorhome. Very tight squeeze for either of us. But enjoyed our week.

This is our second time staying at the RV Park. We brought my in laws this visit and they stayed in one of the tiny homes. We are very pleased with our RV spot and the tiny home. The park is very clean and the water views are so peaceful. The staff is also wonderful. We plan to make many more trips

Over all the rv park is very nice. Our biggest complaint was the small amount of space for parking and tight spaces! Because of the small amount of space, I would only recommend your park to someone who has a very small pull behind. Personal were wonderful , very accommodating and helpful. Make a round drive, so people can get in and out easily/ easier!
