Lake Lavon RV Park

Park is pretty bad. Mud everywhere, owners do not care at all about this park. New park opening up just up the street that I am going to check out. Couple others from here are moving over there. 5167 CR 547. That park has individually fenced lots and storage sheds. No comparison to here, this just a different park, but cheaper here!!!

After we left the review below I was contacted by the owners. An electrician showed up this morning and found a bolt that had fractured in the bottom of our electricity pedastal causing our electrical issues. Ants had packed the bottom of the pedastal with dirt which caused a bolt to oxidize and break in half. I have been running my vacuum, heat, washer/dryer and other major appliances successfully for a few hours now. I wanted to say Thank You to the electrician and to the owners for stepping in to make sure our repairs were made.

We have been at Lake Lavon RV Park for 8 days now. We have a 42ft Toy Hauler. We have not been able to use more than 1 major appliance the entire time we have been here. Our 30amp and 50 amp service does not work. The 20amp is spotty at best. The manager Brenn has not bothered to return any of my emails or phone calls regarding our issues. She has simply ignored us all together. Our neighbor was kind enough to bother her for two new breakers and try to fix the issue but this was not the solution to the problem. Instead we have been piggy backing our neighbors electricity to have heat and a tv. I can't work from home because I do not have enough electricity to run all of the things required. The people in the park are very nice and have tried to help and we appreciate this. However the manager and owners are doing nothing to fix the issue. Calling me back was no problem when the manager collected 6 weeks worth of rent. The community here is friendly and quiet but I would not recommend this place to anyone. The laundry room doesn't work, grounds are unkept and I wonder how many others have little to no electricity at their sites. Do not stay here. It is not worth the headache.

Drove by this place this morning and the place looks very rough. The grass looks like it hasn't been mowed in months.

Great park . Quiet and management keeps the park clean and makes sure all rules are followed. Always willing to help if there is a problem with your RV
