This park is clean but very worn out. It costs 3 dollars to shower inside the swimming area whi h is only open at 10 to 7pm otherwise no showers. Bathrooms are dirty with only cold water. No mirrors or electrical outlet so forget doing your hair, shaving ect. The plan area is for 8 yr Olds and under. When my child was swinging the whole wooden structure was moving too like it would collapse. Our back in campsite was so close to other poles that in order to plug in and hook up to sewer our door step was right over the next RV sites sewer dump. So you had to walk around it. Could not open the Awning since I was so close to the other trailer. Didn't matter if I moved my rig further forward or back. Would not use this place again nor would I recommend it to others.

We absolutely love camping and swimming here! The staff are helpful and kind. The campground is well cared for, and the overall environment is relaxed and peaceful, even when it’s busy.

On March 3rd, 2024 we made a reservation (thru Roverpass) for a three-night stay, June 21st, 22nd, & 23rd) paid by credit card at the time the reservation was made, and received a confirmation email for the reservation. However, upon arrival at the Indian Springs facility, we were greeted by a very rude and abrupt person at the counter who said the entire facility was completely booked, and there was no place for us to stay. We were further told we did not have a reservation because everyone impacted by the mass booking (for a reunion of some group or other) had been notified that their reservations had been cancelled! NOT!!! We were never notified of this, or we would have made other arrangements and asked for a refund. We were summarily turned away, with no further discussion on the part of the facility people, and no offer to assist us in finding a place to stay for the next three nights! Thanks for nothing! We have never heard from the Indian Springs folks, never received a refund, and will never go there again!

Was not a good experience. Dogs running off leash all over the place even after we gave specific sites that were violating this policy. Breaker tripped 3 times just running one AC unit and nothing else. My step daughter told the office the first time and she was told to not run any AC (it was 93 degrees). Paid for a 50 Amp spot and got put in a 30 Amp spot (good thing I carry a reducer with me). A kid in a reunion spot south of mine was permitted to bring a bb gun and not only blew out one of my windows, but also one of the windows of the guy just to the north of me. These same people were extremely disruptive with some of their kids at 0600 in the morning, but a whole bunch of off leash dogs (one of which pooped right next to my trailer). The problem people should have been invited to leave immediately, but nothing was done. The fireworks show was cool, but after that ended, one group pulled out their illegal fireworks as I was just getting my dogs out for a walk and one of my dogs is still jacked up over it because the guy lit them directly in front of my spot and when I yelled at him and called him a colorful metaphor, he did stop. In all, not impressed. Has been 20 years since I have been to this place and it will likely be 20 more before I return. No offer from management to compensate for any issues, it's all about money in their pocket instead of making things right. Now I will be down my trailer for a couple weeks due to having to have the windows replaced. Very disappointed!!!!

Campground Response

Ian, I am truly sorry for what happened this weekend. I felt so badly with all that happened. I too saw those fireworks, and ran over immediately, and yelled at them as well. We have some really amazing campers, and then some that treat our property poorly. Trust me, they will not be coming back. I have given you a refund, and if there is anything more I can do to hopefully have you stay with us again, I would be more than happy to do it! We need more campers like you that care about where they stay! Again.... I am so sorry!!! Michaela

On March 3rd 2024 we made reservations for 3 nights, and received a confirmation from Roverpass (#180494) confirming that the reservation was booked and paid for ($138 on our credit card). We also received a nice reminder email on June 19th which noted that $0 was due on arrival. When we arrived at the RV Park, we we stunned to be told the entire facility had been booked for some group reunion a year in advance, and that we could not be staying. NICE, HUH? The clerk at the office said that everyone that had a reservation had been advised that it was cancelled -- NOT ! ! ! We will be pursuing a refund through the credit card company, but the exasperation and frustration we had dumped on us can not be erased so easily. The stupidity of the clerk telling us the facility had been booked a year in advance, and people like us who made reservations since then had been notified and their reservations cancelled, is just monumental. If the entire facility had been booked a year ago why in hell did they make reservations for us, and anyone else unlucky enough to think they had a confirmed reservation? Bottom line - this sucked! Our advice, don't even think of trying to stay here.

Nearly full being Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, by Monday evening nearly all were gone. Our first experience with grass spot, we didn't need to use levelers. A little unnerving with a full timer family sitting across the road just watching everything we did outside our trailer.

We stayed in spot 65, it had great shade coverage a little creek ran behind- loved the soft sound of water flowing. We were helped by the owner who suggested with the heat outside to look at the spots with shade that you back into which totally saved us from the heat! We originally had a pull through spot set aside which we could have totally kept but the spot we had didn’t have larger trees. We had our two teenagers with us and spot 65 she suggested was perfect- with grass, shade and a little hill behind it which also helped with the wind that kicked up at times. We stayed at this site from June 6-9. We even saved a few bucks moving from the pull through to the back-in sites- so just really appreciated her help even though they didn’t benefit monetarily from the suggestion! They have a large are for golfing- one of those that you can practice your swing with a large area of grass that is far from the campsites- looked like people were having fun with that. The water is great, kids and husband loved swimming. Every RV site had all 3 power sources- 30 amp plug in, 50 amp plug in, and a regular power outlet- no converter required. They also have ice on site. Highly recommend!

This was a really cool campground! There’s a creek that runs through it with lots of fish and crawdads, as well as a koi fish pond! This campground also has lots of shade which is nice.

The main part of the resort is really pretty. Lush green grass, and nice pool behind the office. The spaces in the main portion of the park appeared to be super close together. We stayed overnight, and needed a pull through. They put us in the pull through section. The spaces were on dirt. A lot of RV’s crammed together was our view. Not what we expected. We wouldn’t stay there again. On the upside, it was quiet.

Giving 3 stars because the hosts were super nice and tried to accommodate us. The reality is that once we set up camp, we went into town to eat and ended up finding a nice campground a few miles away. Indian Springs is so dry and dusty, and the spots are so close together, so many people and even more cars, there was no other option for us. After lunch, we went back, broke camp, and drove to the new campground. Again, this shouldn't reflect on the people that work there, but with some changes, that could be a nice campground.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here for Father's Day weekend. It will be our yearly tradition. I would like to thank the facility, they were all wonderful. It will be nice when the pool and shower areas are repaired.

The RV dump station needs to be moved out of the traffic area and a concrete pad should be poured to krp it cleaner. There still seems to be a problem with sewage drainage. The bathroom near us had standing water around the sewer acces s pipe. Not a good look. We did enjoy the area were they put our family. Very accommodating

Staff at Indian Springs were very friendly and accommodating. Our dog had unexpected surgery and they allowed us to extend our stay for a few days after the campground closed. Grounds were kept neat and clean.
