The Houston East RV Resort is located in the beautiful town of Baytown and is a great spot for an authentic Texas vacation. Campers can look forward to as number of nearby water-related activities at places like the gorgeous pond at the Bay Town Nature Center, Pirates Bay Waterpark, and there's also quiet a few public parks like the Roseland, Allenbrooks and Jenkins Parks. The Baytown Historical Museum is a camper favorite, as is Goose Creek Park. There's also a long list of excellent restaurants and picnic areas, and many out-of-town travelers are sure to pause at dusk with a small snack to enjoy the sunset and stargazing.  The San Jacinto Monument (tallest in the USA) & Battleship Texas, were about a half hour away. Other attractions visited within an hour of the campground include: The Beer House, The Orange Show, Smither Park Folk Art, Mount Rush Hour, Lighthouse Water Tower, 2/5th White House, and the National Museum of Funeral History.Amenities at the park include: pool access, tent camping, big rig access, tent camping, pet area, water, WIFI, sewerage and 30/50 amp sites. Hope to see you soon!

We stayed for couple nights. We could not get into the park in Highlands that we normally go to but were able to get a spot here. This is 10 miles further from our friend at the other end of Baytown. A GS pk we paid $35.10 with disc. & tax per nt. Roads are all concrete, sites are concrete with concrete patios. This used to be a KOA few yrs ago. Sites are roomy not bad pk good WIFI & cable. Only bad thing depending on where you are in the park you might hear I10. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
