Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA

Found about 3 miles off the interstate, this KOA has the standard amenities: mini-golf, playground, pool, game area. Other niceties are fishing pond, hiking trail and pizza delivery made fresh and delivered to your rig (approx. $8 for a 9-in pizza). All game equipment is free, including fishing poles! Sites are OK – some are nicer than others, no paved sites, but well-shaded. Approx. $50/night for 50amp W/E/S pull-thru. Standard laundry price: $3.25 for wash/dry. Would recommend this KOA if none other than proximity to Shenandoah NP– easy loop from south entrance to north entrance of park. Finally, there is a large gas/diesel station at the corner of interstate and turn-off for 3-mile stretch to KOA. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
