We were looking for a cheap bare bones FHU place to stay for a couple weeks to a month at the last minute around Thanksgiving, and this place fit the bill. Four stars are for FHU + last minute + low price. The people all seem nice, and Stormy the camp host and her fiance were very helpful. Getting there was pretty easy, there's a dog park (a bare fenced area) and a very small playground (didn't look close, but it looked nice and fairly new). There is a frisbee golf course around the outside of the park, but only if you're OK with tromping through chest high weeds to get to some of the holes. The site where we stayed had the most space and best view, but no access to the water spigot after getting set up (the spigot is inside a locked shed, and only the camp host has access). The other sites all had normal outdoor spigots. Our site was just dirt/grass (the rest were gravel) and at one point it rained and our tow car got stuck in the mud. Thankfully we weren't trying to leave that day, because there's no way we could have gotten our 38' MoHo out in that mud! The camp hosts were awesome and used their truck to pull our car out. Many thanks! There are no hiking/biking trails at all, and the driveway in was in need of gravel filling. There was construction underway to add several more cramped sites in another area while we were there. It looks like only the top level of sites would be OK for bigger rigs, and the lower area that was under construction while we were there would be for smaller rigs. There seemed to be several full-time stationary people who kept to themselves and kept their stuff in their yards. Overall, it seems like a place that the owner is trying to pack as many people into as he can with as little work/investment as possible. But if you're looking for a bare bones full hookup site last minute and for cheap, this place fits the bill. We would stay here again if we are in that situation again.
