I agree with another review that says not enough thought was given to this campsite design. Our pad was actually a shared pad providing little privacy. The other guests, who were having a birthday party, were right outside our window. The worst part was that the table and grill are to be shared by the two sites. I'm not sure how this is to work, especially after a pandemic. There is no onsite park host and parking, curfew rules were not observed. We actually left , forfeiting our fee.

Campground Response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We understand how important privacy and comfort are, especially in a campground setting. We had a very full schedule in town with many events in the park and in town, but typically our municipal park is a serene, quiet escape from the city for all to enjoy. Your comment about the lack of the enforcement of curfew rules are being taken seriously. As for not having a park host onsite, our friendly police department is always willing and able to assist campers at any time in any scenario. If you have any further suggestions or would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please feel free to contact us directly. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

They say full hookups but that is misleading. You will need 2 cords for power to reach panel, 2 or 3 water hoses to reach faucet & about the same if you try to hook to sewer. Nice asphalt pad though not level. Beautiful park and city. Not enough thought went into developing the “full hookup” aspect. For the money, it is a little steep for the amenities. $25 a night with indeed accessible full hookups is available nearby.

Campground Response

Thanks for your feedback - I'm sure it will be helpful for other campers to know. Thank you for staying at our municipal park and hope you enjoyed our beautiful town!
