Gitche Gumee RV Park

This is a strange little park run by a quirky old dude who I happen to like a lot. The sites are large enough, the pull though I'm in is large enough for me to park the truck in front of or behind the 41 foot trailer. The roads and sites are not paved but are pretty level for the most part. A couple of them are off level front to rear, but for most of us that is not a problem. Power is reliable which I can't say for a lot of parks we've stayed in. Right now the cable tv is down due to the provider going to an all digital scrambled format after giving him only two weeks notice, but I'm sure that will be fixed by next year. wifi works, but I do have to go over and reboot the system every couple of days, but at least it is out in the open where I can go do that and not behind lock and key. The few times I've used the "facilities" they have been clean and well supplied (why do people pay a fortune for an RV and then use public restrooms anyway?). Note, he is bad about giving refunds if you can't make the trip, but in our case we showed up three years after making the reservations and he honored our month's rent.
