We really enjoyed our stay at Fundy Woods and will stay again when we return. It's in a great location, close to sea caves, Saint John and can see the bay from the campground. It's very clean and well maintained. Lots of space for each camper and some great little cabins available. They offer seasonal and overnight camping. Matt is very friendly and everyone we met locally commented on what a great guy he was, even Fundy Parkway gate attendant. We highly recommend Fundy Woods for your next camping vacation.

Campground Response

Thanks for the great review

This campground with its views was one of my favorites…this includes the U.S., where we reside. The facilities were clean and everything went off without a hitch. This is a fairly new campground with cabins to rent. The views of the bay of Fundy were striking. The people were friendly too. We came in early September, which is perfect for my tastes.

Wonderful place ! Would definitely stay again when we are in that area ! Unfortunately it rained our entire trip but there were a few hours here and there when the rain let up and we could get out and explore or make a couple s’mores ! We had lots of privacy and the park host was helpful whenever we needed anything ! Sunset was beautiful and loved being surrounded by nature! Perfect break from busy everyday life. Although we spent most of it snuggled in our trailer watching our downloaded movies on our projector, playing board games or eating snacks, it was perfect !

This was a stop on my way home after a 3 week RV trip up the coast of Maine, Nova Scoatia and PEI. The park is obviously relatively new but the sites are very roomy, they left a lot of trees and each site is unique - not just a space in a field liad out in grid format. Also, I had a minor issue with the car hauler I was pulling (lost a bolt in the suspension system) and they were able to find something that worked to get me home.

This was our third time to Fundy Woods in the past 5 years. The owner and family have certainly been very busy expanding and making Fundy Woods a wonderful place to stay! Previously we have booked the first 'rustic' camp site T7 a few times, great for us as we can tuck away. This year we tried out T9 at the further end of the park and it was a very spacious site backed onto the woodland, in a bright spot with lots of space. We only stayed one night as we knew it was going to rain. The washroom facilities are all new, clean and bright and in the center of the park for ease of access for the mix of campers, RV's and cottagers. The park is not far from the town of St. Martins and you can access the Main Street at the back of the park via the ATV trail-which we did check out. We look forward to returning again next summer and maybe bringing the grandkids.

We stayed at Fundy Woods Campground for one night as we were travelling around the east coast. The campground was nicely wooded and the lots were fairly large and you were not crowded or super close to your neighbour. The owner was very friendly upon check-in and wanted everyone to have a good experience. The campground had good internet, great clean washrooms and showers and a washer and dryer and quiet. Great views and very quiet. This campground had a few small bunkies and or cottages you could rent I believe as well. This would be a great place to use as a headquarters to explore the area, there is no pool or playground for kids just yet but it is a newer campground so maybe someday. I would stay here again!

Campground was clean, quiet and had all of the amenities. When we arrived, we had to wait a bit for someone to show up in the office, which was not a big deal as we weren't in any kind of hurry. Staff member was very friendly and directed us to our site and provided some advice on how best to set up, as there is a bit of a hill. The site had a splendid view of the Bay of Fundy and was very spacious. The Saturday night we stayed there, there were dirt bikes going all hours of the night, (out of the campground's control), but our rooftop A/C fan was able to drown out the noise, not the case for our daughter who rented in a neighboring lot. Our last morning, there was a power outage, to which campers were not informed. I wasn't sure if the breaker to my site was tripped or not, but it turned out to be the whole campground, which affected availability of water for showers. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this campground again. St. Martins is a beautiful area and this campground is close enough that everything is just a short drive.

Campground Response

We apologize for the local noise but as you say it was out of our control and surrounding neighbours where also upset. As far as the local power outage all campers where notified with the exception of your two sites. We tried to inform you but with you being off site untill late in the evening you where missed and we apologize. Notices where posted at the office

Visited from Montana and Maine. Impressed with how well thought out and maintained this place is. Definitely the best we experienced in 7 days of moving through larger area of Atlantic Canada as well as 70 years of tenting in US. Bathrooms were impressive.

Just our kind of campground- tucked in the woods , spacious sites, quiet and relaxing. Would have stayed longer but the weather forecast was for fog and misty rain. Town of St. Martins has everything you need, restaurants, a few shops. Wanted to try Old Molly’s but they were closed. Next time!
