What can you expect when you stay at Everflowing Waters Campground? One of the most tranquil and peaceful experiences any traveler could wish for. Located on the peaceful Yuba Creek, this quiet, semi-shaded, secluded campground is just the place for the camper who wants to get away from it all but remain close to the action too. Privacy and convenience, tree-shaded grassy lots and the overflowing waters of Yuba Creek make this campground a must stay location for your next location or weekend getaway. The charming Traverse City area with its shops and restaurants is nearby. Plus, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking and two champion-level golf courses are just around the corner.

Some park amenities include 20/30/50 amp sites along with tent sites for those seeking something a little more different. Guests also have access to picnic tables, fire ring/grill, fire pit and WiFi.

Sorry to say but this was the worst Campground we ever stayed. No Showers or Bathroom with running water. Just a stinking Outhouse. It was so bad that we left after one night. We had paid for two. This place might be OK if you have a Trailer with your own Bathroom facilities.

We enjoyed our stay at EW. The lots are grassy and there are a good variety of spots with trees and bushes. One's along the stream are prime. 30A and water hookup. No waste dump or showers. They have a waste service that comes to campground or you can go to State park in town. Perfect place for couples who want more of a quite setting. There are not many things to do at grounds for kids but mine did enjoy the stream and open areas. Owner is nice and willing to help with any of your needs. I would stay there again.

Well, if I tell everyone about this little gem, then it won't be hidden any more!!! First of all, before you go, be aware of the amenities. Know what it is that you are getting into. If you expect a pool, playground, mini golf, a shower house and game room, then don't go. But, if you are looking for a wonderful family run campground, quiet, secluded, beautiful, with a creek running through it, close to one of the best horse show grounds in the country and all the wonders that the Traverse area has to offer, then you might just want to check it out. But don't take our annual spot!!! We wouldn't give it up for the world!!!!!

After several text and phone conversations with the owner prior to our trip, I was unsure of how trip would be at this campground. It didn’t take long for the concerns to be valid. We booked for a holiday weekend, arriving on a Friday evening and found the grounds barely occupied, which was very odd for the Torch Lake area. Owner was very rude. On our first morning there, right after breakfast, he walks up to our site and started yelling at my adult daughters for parking on the grass next to our trailer. When I came out of our trailer to see what the problem was, I found him leaning on the hood of their car yelling at everyone about not following the rules, which are not posted anywhere. There was multiple unoccupied sites on either side of us the whole weekend, that he refused us to use for parking, and got angry when I asked where he wanted us to park. after several minutes of trying appease him, he had us park on the “Grass” across the road from our site which was occupied with campers. Even our neighbors across the road from us were shocked by the owners behavior. Need less to say, none of us felt comfortable or welcome there. I had inquired about a dump station when booking, he stated he has a service that comes out for that, only to be told after we got there that the service is not available on weekends or holidays. Paid for Wi-Fi but had minimal service. The campsites were ok, but not much area to park your vehicle after unhooking from the trailer. My kids are grown adults, but I would not recommend for young families as there is nothing for kids to do, no play areas. The creek and pathways to cross over on are overgrown and barely accessible and poorly maintained given that it’s their main attraction of the campground. Could have been a better experience without the drama and unprofessional behavior from the owner. We were looking for a peaceful weekend and yet could not enjoy it after the interaction with the owner. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back!

Christina, Christina, Christina there is usually one camper per holiday, and your it for this Memorial Day Weekend. I seek communication and invite them to contact me with any questions or concerns, in several different ways, but no not you. You do as you damn well please after signing for those rules that are posted, a copy to take with you if so desired, or again if in doubt that communication I talk about could be used. For anyone reading this review, we do have guidelines here and yes, I bring them to campers' attention even after only 1/2 a day of signing for them. This attitude of its a campground and we can do anything we want doesn't fly here. Most campers enjoy the peacefulness of this place and say so only because they respect other people's property and the guidelines that go with it. Since you're not returning, I can suggest several places that are kind of, anything goes. Respectfully, Dennis Penney/Everflowing Waters Campground

We are so very happy and pleased that we just "keep coming back"! Dennis and his wife Mary are most pleasant and soft-spoken, with a Grrreat sense of humor. The campground is very basic with elect and water hookups and a weekly RV dump service at extra charge. This is our affordable type of camping. We previously had checked other parks in the Traverse City area... and ALL have incredibly sky high pricing compared to Everflowing waters. As full-time RVer's, Donna and I look forward to returning next summer to this quiet, pleasant environment with accommodating owners.

Awful. The campground is fine. That’s it. Fine. There’s only two fire pits for 6 full hookup RV sites. But that’s all tolerable. What isn’t was the owner. Website says “we are excited to have you”. The reality is it should say they are excited to have you...if it’s convenient for Dennis. My family was running behind on our travels, as is common traveling in an RV with two dogs and two children under the age of 3. When me and my wife called in advance to inform him we’d be running late and to make sure our prepaid spot would be there Dennis said “get here fast and make it sooner than later.” And after some pushing I finally got it from him that yes we would have a spot. No problem. We arrived at 10:30pm, which the website says you can check in until 11pm, and I understand that’s cutting it close. But valid nonetheless. I approach the office in the rain and knock to no answer. I call and Dennis begrudgingly answers and then hangs up on me after some huffing and puffing. He comes to the door, sizes me up, and tells me to read the rules on the wall if I can because it’s dark...there’s a light overhead that he could have turned on. I use my phone flashlight. He has me sign the slip for the spot and this is when it got good. He says, I kid you not, “just two pieces of advice- next time either stay home and show up in the morning when it’s light out so WE don’t have to deal with this in the dark, or you could even just stay the night in the casino parking lot that’s 10 minutes away and come back in the morning.” Yes, a paying customer should stay the night in a casino parking lot with their family including two small children because it’s an inconvenience to him for us to set our RV up on his campground. But I said WE because you would assume he was upset that he had to help. Nope. He pointed out where the spot was on a map and went back inside. Why even care when we show up anyways? It was absurd. I’d never stay there again nor would I recommend staying there unless you know you can make it convenient for Dennis.

There's a good reason this campground has a below than average rating. The owner is rude and makes you feel like your not welcome. Some spots do not have fire rings...this is a campground, right!? The two spots beside us had trailers that the owners were remodeling and running chop saws! This after the owner lectured me on a list of things campers cannot do because they are common sense rules. If you want to feel like you're camping in your own backyard then this is the place for you. Although if i would camp in my backyard at least i'd have nice restrooms inside. This place only has a pit-toilet. Go down the road 6 miles to the Northeast at Whitewater Twp Park & Campground. It's a great little county park.

My wife and I loved our peaceful stay. Our site was perfect and cozy. It was a great way to start our month long trip to Wyoming and Montana. We’ll definitely be back. Hopefully we can get a spot this fall during the color change. The owner was a nice gentleman and takes great care of his property. 4stars for us ✝️

Just needed a stop over while traveling. Stayed there while we visited Traverse City. Nothing Fancy but found it to be quiet and clean. We have a 36 foot Motor Coach and had no trouble with our site. We are self contained so we were quite comfortable. Owner was friendly.

Upon arrival the manager campground supervisor guy came out and the first thing he asked me and my bud was are “those the loud type of motorcycles?” 2nd out house had no TP in for almost a day. 3rd he ran out of fire wood to buy. 4th dogs running free, was woke up by one at 5 am from one braking outside my tent, but own was worried about my motorcycle being to loud. Some of the trucks coming and going way much louder than our motorcycles..

We (family of 5 + 2 large dogs) were in TC for a softball tournament and needed an economical place to stay. I booked and paid online via roverpass and when we arrived all paperwork was waiting and ready for me to sign. The elderly gentleman (owner) asked us a few questions and then walked us to a campsite he thought would work well for our family and tent. The grounds were very well groomed and our site was wonderful. We didn't spend much time at our site due to the tournament, but it served its purpose and we had a wonderful experience. Toilets are traditional privies but very clean and there is no shower facility on site. We would stay here again though and recommend it to family.

I booked a place over the weekend and had fun. This was super close to everything including Casinos, beaches, Shopping, Golf and you could even drop your Kayak in at the end of the street. The campground was in a secluded, woods with a peaceful flowing creek next to a cordwood house. The owner greeted us when we arrived and walked us to our site. I was hesitant to book after reading other reviews but after a brief conversation with the owner. We had a short conversation about our military history and he was a fine gentleman. I realized our stay would be fine. He is set in his ways and as long as you follow his posted rules everyone will have good stay. They weren't unreasonable. He just expects everyone to be courteous of others. Keep your vehicle under 10mph. Drunken parties will not be tolerated and keep your music down and make sure your kids are respectful of his property. Our site was a pull-thru with Electric and Water hookups but no sewer. Not a big deal as I knew this coming in. There was a shared fire ring which was fine because we got to meet our neighbors and share our excursions and learn about other places to visit. The restrooms were Porta-potties and also an outhouse which was clean but didn't have to use them as we had an RV. If you want a nice quiet place which is close to everything give this place a try. I enjoyed my stay.

What happened to "Customers First" .... or Customer service? That's what builds a successful business. Campground was subpar ... bathroom was disgusting but main reason ... owner is Rude and Mean-spirited. My family looks forward to camping as a "get-away" .... not to be badgered by some old, crabby owner. We expect to be "welcomed". He took our money ... we deserve a pleasant experience. I will NEVER subject my family to this again ... the owner ruined the spirit of our get away .... I'm pissed !!!!

I will never go back to this campground. I misread the information so I didn't realize that their only facilities were outhouses...no flush toilets and no showers. But the site said picnic tables and fire pits were available. It did not said they weren't available at each campsite. It seemed like we got a scolding from the owners every day we stayed there. Too expensive for what we got.

Ruth, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your camping weekend. You have answered your own statements. We don't have showers or flush toilets, true. It is stated on our website. Every site, ( 52 ) does not have a fire ring or table. We do not claim too on our statement site. Your party was placed so a ring was available & a mobile fire dish was also offered. If you needed more tables all you had to do is ask. I could have placed 3 to 6 more at your site. I've always said, Communication is a wonderful thing if we would just use it. I have no idea where the scolding part comes in. My wife has medical concerns, but I still asked her if she had even spoken with you. No was the answer. I was very busy this holiday. Not really a lot of time to talk but you did ask me for the wifi password the second day. That was the only time I spoke to you other than check in. I have a simple rule. If for some reason anyone is unhappy camping here all they have to do is let me and your money will be refunded and you can camp somewhere else. It's as simple as that. This was a really nice, quiet, and quaint campground. The staff was very affable and accommodating for all of our needs. They had a ton of great amenities that included 20/30/50 amps, grills, picnic tables, pull-thrus, WIFI, and a few more. The park was nicely maintained and had a great array of sites to choose from for all kinds of camping styles. The activities were loads of fun and very relaxing for all of us. I really enjoyed the scenery and all of the beautiful sights that surrounded the park. Just outside of Traverse City. Very nice quiet park, owner is very nice. No amenities but a great place to stay for sightseeing. Very well kept up. Unfortunately he lost a few trees when we were there due a severe storm with 90 mph winds. I definitely would go back.The sites are all very level and have water and electric. He will pump out your grey water for free. Unfortunately he has no dump for black water. He knows of several dump places for when u leave or to take honey wagon.
