Off the main road in a somewhat residential area created a rather quiet stay. The other trailers appeared to be more longer term stays. The main negative is after 4 days on the road we were looking forward to a nice shower, but the bathroom and shower facility was closed for remodel. There was no indication of that or through conversation when we made reservations.

The owner of the site was kind and made sure we had what we needed. Our site was nice. We had EV SUV and used 50 Amp electric plug. It works with lowdown amperage to 30 Amp on SUV. We did not use the full hookup since this is a EV SUV. Shower and bathroom to be cleaner. All function properly.

We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere; sad to leave my nice spot with fabulous shade and back view of a little creek. Thomas is a great host with very good manners, respectfulandcheerful.

From the entrance the park office is beautiful! However, the grounds were a little tight and space markers were not very legible. It appears this park has several full-time residence. Unable to connect to Wi-Fi signal from front office to our site. “Thomas” was very helpful and available 24/7. Clean laundry facilities, however, required five dollar cash deposit for personal key. Easy access to highway!

Nice and private and quiet. After some planned updates it is a hidden jewel. I don’t want to tell many people about this place or it will be overrun with RV’ers.

Although the staff was friendly and the bathroom clean, I did not feel safe in the park. The pictures were very deceptive. I went to return the keys to the bathrooms and laundry rooms to get my deposit back, no one was at the office so I left them in an empty mailbox holder. We left and paid for another safer facility.

Campground Response

Good morning Lisa. I'm sorry you felt unsafe during your stay with us. We are working very hard to make our park clean and most importantly safe. We have BIG plans for our park. We are going to be renovating the Bath/Laundry as well as putting in gates and fencing along the front of the property. Thank you for your honesty. I hope you will give me the opportunity to earn your business again once the renovations are complete. Thank you very much.

Dryers did not work. The bathroom/shower doors do not lock. We were without water more than 7 instances. The roads were ripped up while they have water/sewer lines overhauled. WiFi did not work my entire stay of 30 days. Management offered a refund for the inoperable dryers we put money in, and she also offered to get the WiFi fixed. Neither of those things happened. Also the property and it's residents appears to be a drug den. Long term residents fought several times. They screamed at each other and sped their cars thru the park. When the water would go out, no one would inform us. Not one time. The outage was obviously planned, the plumber told me it was. It was honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. $576($518 non Refundable) is absolutely outrageous for a place that I couldn't use the facilities. Just run for the hills. One star given because you have to give something to leave a review.

Campground Response

Good morning Brandy. My name is Thomas. I'm the new Manager here at Estes RV Park. I'm want to apologize for your awful experience here in the past. It is very unfortunate that you were here during some the construction we are doing. The water and sewer have since been fixed and the roads repaired (well that is an everyday job). We have also removed the unsavory guest. We have BIG plans for this park. We have purchased Wi-fi extenders, we are renovating the Bath/Laundry as well as putting in gates and fence along the front of the property. We are working very hard to make this park clean and most importantly safe. Thank you for your honesty. I hope you give me the opportunity to earn your business again once the upgrades have been made.

Bad place and looks to be drug activity

Good morning "No". My name is Thomas. I'm the new manager here at Estes RV Park. I want to apologize for your awful experience. Prior to me being hired, it was occupied by very unsavory tenants. Once I came on we worked very hard removing those individuals. We have BIG plans in the works for the next few months to make this place clean and safe for our guests. We are renovating the Bath/Laundry and putting gates and fencing along the front of the property. I hope you will give us a second chance in the future. Thank you very much for your honesty. I hope to earn you business again.

Hands-down, the worst RV camping site I have ever visited. The park was completely torn apart mud piles, and rock everywhere. Also they double booked us and try to make me share electricity and was trying to force me to use the water in the bathroom and not give me a water hook up mind you I made reservations three weeks ahead of time. Also doors are not to be locked when you shower and lights only last 15 minutes, to me that sounds like pedo row. You are blocked in an unlocking bathroom with no lights. No way on gods green earth was I letting my young granddaughter’s shower in there. Also, the amount of stray dogs running into the campsite and up to our camper. Door was alarming. When I said something to the old man that runs the show, he told me the dogs were in a bad spot and there’s nothing he could do about it all the while he told my dog to shut up every time it barked because of the stray dogs. Oh, I could go on and on this was a hell hole for sure.

It has a new owner so time will tell. We showed up and most of the park was torn apart, mud and dirt piles all over. They had put someone else in my reserved spot and sent us to the back area that was really bad. We struggled to get into it was so bad. No Wi-Fi on site do us. Very bad neighbor a lot of people have cameras and security lights on out side of campers. Would never go back or even drive through this neighborhood.

Usually we stay at COEs or State Parks, but this time we needed a RV Park close to Tulsa. We stayed one week for an event we were attending in the area. This reasonably priced park has clean bathrooms and laundry room. It has full hook ups, is safe, quiet and convenient to restaurants and stores. The negative is the spaces are small with no outdoor space for a table, bbq, sitting, etc. I do recommend this park if you are looking for a place to park and sleep in Tulsa, and are not looking for amenities or a scenic view.

Campground Response

Thank you for your review. Estes RV Park was recently acquired and we are slowly making progress towards positive experiences for our guests. Safe travels.
