The place was clean, easy to get in and out. Most sights are under the trees, and beautiful. The staff is very friendly, great spot to access all the great places the Ozark Mountains has to offer.

We love this campground!! Always had good experiences here. The staff / owners are very nice and were very accommodating to our specific needs. Our kids had fun and we felt safe with them wandering around. We love the location in Jasper and close to the Buffalo River as well. We will be back!

Ww held our family reunion there and had a great time, we occupied 4 cabins and a camp site, the cabins were quite comfortable and we brought everything we needed, I did stumble and fall my first day there going up the first step to check in, there was no rail to hold on to and it wasn't a proper step but I only skinned my arm so no worries. loved the surroundings and really enjoyed ourselves.

The owners are very friendly and nice. The campsites were very close together and so it felt a little cramped. We just used it as a home base for doing various activities in the area.

Our stay here was wonderful in our Jeep and small camper! The park was right off Hwy 7. The park was close to all of our scenic adventures as well as town. We were able to visit the Cliff House/Arkansas Grand Canyon, the Erbie Farmstead, Twin falls, Boxley Elk, and the Buffalo River. The restrooms and showers were clean and the park was well kept. The office management was very helpful and responded immediately when any small question was asked. Happy camping!

The campsites are old but ok. The host (owner I believe) is rude and unaccommodating. We have stayed here once before and gave her grace for her rude behavior. While we still offer grace for her rude behavior, we will not be paying the over too high price for the outdated campsites that she is providing in the future.

Just wanted to say that Ginger, Chuck the owners an especially Betty the host, have may us feel at home every-time we stay here and we have stayed so long that Betty has now adopted us 😊. They work very hard to keep a clean and especially safe park for everyone!!! Yes they have rules to follow which is what it takes to maintain a clean and safe environment for guest and especially the kids!!! The park has very clean restrooms and showers and great washers and dryers .it’s conveniently located to the grocery store in town and also downtown Jasper and all the things to do in the surrounding area. We have a 25 foot motorhome and don’t have a problem getting into any sites they have. So if your looking for a place to stay I would highly recommend you staying here ! And by the way be sure to say hi to Betty for us!!!!!😊

I do not recommend staying here unless you want to be micromanaged and stalked during your camping trip. We had a tent camping site and immediately felt like something was off when we arrived. The property manager come up to our tent multiple times to sort of check on us, asking a bunch of questions—but it didn’t just seem hospitable, but rather invasive. My friend literally said “why does it feel like we’re being watched” within 10 minutes of being there. We didn’t think much of it until my friend’s mom pulled up to our campsite the next day to bring us some supplies we left at home. (She was staying in an Airbnb nearby). She was there for only a few minutes before a lady on a golf cart pulled up and asked who she was and why she didn’t have a parking pass tag. Her exact words were “I was watching out my window and saw a vehicle pull up without a parking tag.” Not creepy at all. Also, she was adamant about our unregistered guest signing a liability waiver, asking for her name and relationship to us, even after we informed her our guest was leaving. What kind of stuff happens that requires a liability waiver for 20 minutes of being on the property? The whole vibe screamed getting murdered in your sleep so we only stayed the one night and then got the heck out of there. If you’re looking for a Bates motel experience this is your place. The bathrooms were nice and clean though, so I guess that deserves a star.

Campground Response

Hi Molly, Thank you for your highly exaggerated review. We certainly encourage honest reviews (good or bad) as that is how we learn and grow to make each experience better. The campground was fully packed as it was Memorial weekend and the person who checked you in and everyone else in upon arrival was the property manager/owner. During the check-in process, you were given a handout of the campground rules and told that you would be stopped if you did not have a car pass (not to mention the sign posted at the entrance that all guests must check in at the office) and you chose to ignore that. This is for the safety of all our guests and that is why you were approached by the campground host. As for the liability waiver, all guests must fill one out....this is not because anything bad has happened here....it is simply a mandatory requirement for the insurance companies, when you booked online, you received a pop-up about it and selected ok to continue. Other than showing you to your campsite, I believe I may have asked you one time in passing if everything was alright as I do with all guests out of common courtesy, I most certainly did not go to your tent site multiple times to ask you a bunch of questions, nor would I even have the time for that. Now the "Bates Motel "comment was just hilarious......thank you for the good laugh .....but as for us and our campground.....we will continue to make sure that rules are followed for everyone's safety and if you don't like that then you are better off staying elsewhere. Have a great day!

Great location just north of Jasper, central to many things to see and do! We camped in our Fifth Wheel. Chuck and Ginger were great host. Gravel sites, good trees, clean bathhouse. CG is being improved, good electric and city water. Will camp here again when we are in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dogwood Springs Campground and it was an absolute delight! A top highlight of my stay was the in-cabin fireplace in #43. It added a cozy and warm atmosphere, making the chilly evenings exceptionally comfortable and inviting. The campground's location is another big plus – it's conveniently situated, providing easy access to nearby attractions while still offering the peace and tranquility of a natural setting. This perfect balance made my stay both adventurous and relaxing. Speaking of relaxation, the atmosphere at Dogwood Springs is serene; coupled with the natural beauty of the surroundings. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Overall, my experience at Dogwood Springs Campground was fantastic. It’s a perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dogwood Springs. It's nothing fancy, which is just what we were looking for. The owners are wonderful, friendly people. Check in was a breeze and they were available whenever we needed firewood or had a question. The campground is very convenient to town, located just north of Jasper on Scenic 7, and an easy drive to all the Buffalo River area has to offer.

Great people and a very nice area. Getting to it is a bit of a challenge if you come in on 7 highway. Steep hills and curvy roads. We also had a chicken travel with us from the previous camp ground, don't ask, and they helped us find a new home for it.
