Diamond Lakes Regional Park is a 286 acre park located on the historic site of the Augusta International Speedway. The campground at Diamond Lakes will offer 25 full hook-up sites including electricity, water and sewage connections. The park is located on the southern side of Augusta within 15 miles of the Augusta National Golf Club.
The park is located in the Sand Hills region of Georgia, an area known for its gently rolling topography. The park is surrounded to the north and west by residnetial development, and to the south and east by woodlands. Spirit Creek runs along the southern border of the park, just south of the seven small lakes for which the park is named.
Diamond Lakes Regional Park has several recreation opportunities, including: baseball/softball, 8 tennis courts, 3 outdoor basketball courts with flex court surfacing, 5 fishing ponds, a picnic pavilion, 3 picnic areas, a sand volleyball court and a 25 site campground.
Diamond Lakes Regional Park consists of two 5-field baseball/softball complexes, a community center and gymnasium co-located with a public library. The campground consists of 25 full hook up sites and a bathouse with ADA accessible toilet/showers.
Downtown Augusta is home to a wide variety of special events, restaurants and area attractions such as: the Augusta River Walk located along the Savannah River between 6th and 11th Streets; the James Brown Arena, located at 7th Street and Telfair Street; the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History is located at 1116 Phillips Street; and the Morris Museum or Art is located at 1 10th Street, to name a few area attractions.

Any violation of the policies is prohibited. Augusta Recreation & Parks may terminate occupancy or remove individuals from the campground with no refund or credit at their sole discretion.
Firearms are allowed as long as you have a valid permit issued by the State of Georgia.
Campers must maintain a clean campsite. Do not leave food unattended at your site. Glass containers are not allowed. All trash should be disposed of in trash receptacles, dumpsters and recycling receptacles.
Fishing is allowed with a Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GDNR) fishing license. Motorized boats and trolling motors are not allowed! Swimming is not allowed. Use caution while walking near lakes and woods. Please do not feed the wildlife. Please do not dispose of any garbage, litter or foreign substances in the lakes.
Fires are permitted in grills or fire rings only. Open ground fires are prohibited. Fires should not exceed three feet in height. Do not cut, saw, or chop trees in the park. Do not leave your fire unattended and be sure that your fire is completely extinguished before leaving the campground. Do not burn trash at your site! Fireworks are prohibited.
Alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Diamond Lakes is a family friendly park. There is to be no vulgarity, nudity or lewd behavior. All group activities must conclude by 10:00 p.m. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Bicycles are allowed but all cyclist ages 16 and under must wear a helmet.
Golf carts are allowed on paved streets. Driver must be have a valid driver’s license. Golf carts must obey road signs and travel in the same direction as vehicle traffic. No all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) or scooters are allowed in the park.
Two motor vehicles are allowed on a campsite, no exceptions. Any additional vehicles must park in the overflow parking area. Do not park vehicles on an empty site. The parking area next to the bathhouse is for use of that building only and is limited to 30 minutes. You are not allowed to wash any vehicles.
Pets are allowed. However, they must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. Barking or aggressive dogs will not be tolerated. Pet owners must clean up after their animals. Pets must have current vaccinations. Pets are not allowed in the bathhouse.
A campsite may not be occupied by more than four people. At least one camper at each site must be an adult (18 years or older) who assumes responsibility for all actions at their campsite and should remain with campers and visitors at all time.
