The Davis RV Park is located in the beautiful small town of Stamford, Texas and is a great spot for an authentic southern escape. My family and I live in New York and we've heard so many different things about Texas that people keep saying are untrue cliches, but that's not the case at the Davis RV Park. It's crazy that all those things I wanted to see in the South were right there! Plenty of opportunities for rodeos, dances, really great barbecue, and the sites themselves were clean and well-managed. We enjoyed having Elizabeth (the owner) around. She was very hospitable and super kind to us out-of-towners. There's plenty of small town restaurants and supermarkets around so we didn't have to go too far for supplies which was nice! Will return next chance I get!
