Not impressed with this campground for the price you pay for overgrown, unlevel sites, baths closed at 10pm, fishing from a pond required bracelet, too many full timers in nice shaded spots. Only highlight was that stores and restaurants close by

Campground Response

Hey Michelle! We wish you had a better time and will strive you make every experience here after a better one. With Hurricane Barry just passing through we spent the week cleaning up the roads, trees covering the road ways and pool. Unfortunately, we did not have time to do a pass and grad the roads and sites. I wish you would of let us know you were interested in another site, we would of been happy to accommodate your move to a more shaded spot. The baths and laundry are open all night, the sign was left from the previous owner and we have yet to take down. The bracelets are given on busy weekends and holidays I apologize for the confusion and will review the rules to be more specific. We hope you give us another chance!

Fantastic place! Enjoyed being near the water. Road noise was not a problem.

Campground Response

Thank you Roger!! Campers usually assume it might be noisy since we are off of the hwy but thank you for reassuring it is as quiet and peaceful as it seems! We hope to have you stay here again.

My husband and I had a great time here! Trey and Julie were very nice and helpful when we arrived, and their park is gorgeous! Trees everywhere, and the lake is beautiful and a really awesome fishing spot at dawn. We did some adventuring offsite, and especially enjoyed the swamp tours and paddling trails. Definitely hoping to return again this year!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your review, Davina! We're glad you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you and Philip this year again!
