What a great little RV park and the owner Rita is so sweet and very helpful. We stayed 7 night here for the sturgis motorcycle rally location is perfect for all the rides . Rita checked on us and even let 2 of us borrow 50 amp plug adapters . Part way through our stay she heard us come back from a long day riding and gave us homemade cinnamon rolls and sat and talked to us about where we have been gave us some great rides and restaurants to try. Really clean place full hookups with great prices (she doesn't price jump for rally) and great location 100% be back soon

Campground Response

The owner, Rita, was a lovely woman that was very accommodating . She was eager to ensure we had a good visit but allowed us to have our space to relax. The campground itself is beautifully maintained and well located. We had a seamless stay and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Black Hills. We have already planned a return trip to stay at CM RV.

Campground Response

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.

This is a small, well maintained, and wonderfull RV park. The owner is on site and provides excellent customer service. Great spot for dog owners with lots of room to play and run. Especially nice is the direct access to the rail trail for long walks and cycling. Quiet, secure, and close to the sights of the Black Hills. Highly recommended.

Campground Response

Not a very good experience. The owner was out of town for the first four days of our nine day stay. She owns two dogs that constantly barked, especially at night. When she did come back, it was better but still barking from her dogs at all hours. She offered no apology at all!! Our friends left before we did, they were loaded and engines running, just saying goodbyes and she came by annoyed that they were past the checkout time….it was 11:02 and checkout is 11:00. We had booked 9 days and two other couples booked because we had. She made a lot of money from our group during a slow time of the year. Campground is nice enough but we definitely did not feel appreciated as customers. We will not return!!!

The campground is nice and small. Clean. No fires allowed though and owners dogs barked a lot especially at night. Great access to walking trails. We liked the location. Could not get internet on phones.

We loved our stay here! Rita was very friendly and helpful by providing us with a list of area attractions, suggestions, and ideas for our stay. We loved the location right on the edge of Hill City. We were close to all the sites and attractions of beautiful South Dakota. We would highly recommend this campground to anyone!

We had to cancel 5 days early because of mechanical problems. No refund understood. But they didn't communicate the cancellation to the 3rd party, so they keep sending me emails to rate my stay after I cancelled my reservations. Get it together.

Very nice well ran campground. The owner is on site and keeps the park neat and clean. She is very hands on. Full hookups, but no amenities like laundry or bathrooms so your rig must be self sufficient. However that was fine with us - hill city is close by with laundromats if you need to do laundry. It’s a small park but decent space between each site. We would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Campground Response

Thank you! Was nice to visit . Great having you .

Miss Rita was an excellent Host. The only "hit" was that I wish the Wi-Fi was stronger. I truly enjoyed my time at Creekside and hope to visit again next year!

Campground Response

Thanks Dennis! Glad to have you stay with us.

Owner very rude. No amenities. NO wifi. Do not recommend. Very small parking spaces.

Campground Response

I don't think i was rude I don' t advertise amenities In fact i advertise. SELF CONTAINED. NO AMENITIES! ALSO ... you say i am rude because checkout is 11. You were not gone. Wi fi.? With the rally what do you expect. Alot of people out there. Spaces are not small.considering you were in your camper all the time.you not once were out unless you were leaving for somewhere.have a great day!

Owner meet us to show where to park (to lineup with the other RVs in a row). A walking or biking trail behind us, believe it went all the way to Hill City. Real close to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, not that far from Custer State Park. The only down fall was to close to 385, you can hear all the road traffic. No bathhouse available.

Campground Response

Thanks for staying!

The site is clean and beautifully landscaped, plenty of room. Conveniently located to all the sites in the area including a creek and hiking path right there. Extremely dog friendly. Rita, the owner, was an instant friend! She made excellent recommendations for the nearby towns and sites. We would definitely stay here again when we return to South Dakota.

Campground Response

Thank you! So glad to have met you both and became friends. Now i will have someone to visit in Virginia!
