Corner Campers

(1) Review

509 Chestnut St, Ashland, KS, 67831

The only shady campground in Ashland!

7 sites. Full hookups water, sewer, up to 50amp. Clean campground with picnic tables WiFi and cable hookups available for long-term visitors  Very quiet - occasionally you hear a donkey, cows, and horses   We are visited now and again by a roadrunner or two and a large group of turkeys.

Vacation rental on site also, fully furnished you just add food.  Sleeps up to 11 people. 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed the other with a full and twin bed.  Two couches that open for sleeping and we have blowups and plenty of floor space.

Pets are very welcome in campground

I really only have two rules about pets 1. I provide a bucket in middle of campground, labeled Poo Bucket with a lid. Please use it 2. All dogs bark including mine but in the evening I try to respect campers and neighbors quiet time

The Cottage

No pets aloud in cottage due to allergies of many people . They are certainly welcome but the home is smoke and pet free. I provide Butt Buckets outside for those who smoke and I have a garage and a crate or two for your pet but you are responsible for walking and cleanup

I have 2018 maps of KANSAS and pamphlets provided by KANSAS Tourism of so many wonderful sites all within an hours drive of Ashland.

ASHLAND has the Pioneer-Krier Museum

GREENSBURG has the WORLD’s largest hand dug well started in the 1880’s- an awesome site worth visiting

DODGE CITY has the Boot Hill Cemetery, Dodge City Brewery And so many other things to visit

MEADE has the Dalton Gang Hideout

On the west end just outside of town are the red hills which at sunset are breathtaking

Visited Ashland for a wedding. Owners were very friendly and very responsive if you needed anything. Full hook ups. No laundry because town is only one mile square and there is a large laundry mat right down the street. The town is quiet and all the people very friendly. We had some damage to camper during out trip to Kansas upon arrival we were told who could fix it. All of our skylights were broken. The person not only ordered parts for us but he came to campsite with lumber cut to fit and made a tep fix for us. When parts came in he delivered to camper< we weren't ther, left a bill and returned to help us install. Campground has trees for shade and they are dog friendly. Loved the campground, the town and the people
