Our motel and pool area are currently undergoing a multi-year major renovation in preparation for our 50th anniversary in 2023.  Please pardon our construction and any inconvenience this might cause.

We have completed renovation of the RV park and are currently discounting all RV sites to make up for our motel and pool construction. All 33 RV sites are extra wide pull-thru sites with full 50Amp hookups.

Free Wi-Fi. Daily rate discounts offered, great weekly rates and the lowest cost monthly rates with free electricity in New Mexico. Easiest On/Off access in the entire SW United States on the I-10 corridor.

Cheap, clean, safe. Right off I-10. Want more???? Drive all over the place and pay more for basically a parking spot to dump and plug in for the night on your cross country journey. I have read older reviews on the motel, all negative. I talked to Virginia the manager, and she said they are no longer renting rooms, and in the middle of a gigantic remodeling effort to get the property ready for their 50 year anniversary. We have motorized blackout curtains in front, so as soon as we parked, we never looked at the motel until next morning pull out. The water is clean, the power was reliable, and with our RV club discount, the night cost us less than $30.00 Looking east, you can see the Organ mountains. It was very quiet, and beats parking at truck stop across the hiway for free with fillup, and being sandwiched between 2 ideling big rigs all night. The truck stop makes you pay $15 to dump septic, so this was a no brainer.

Very Low Cost Southern New Mexico Living! $500 all bills paid, no move in deposit. Free wifi and extra wide lots with picnic tables and trees.

Lowest Cost Monthly RV Rates...Period!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW, what can you say, only $500.00 total move in for 1 month in Southern New Mexico in the high desert. If you are heading west, this is the last Las Cruces exit, and east bound, the first. Great mountain and city views, with the best rate in New Mexico. Mild winters and summers compared to North Texas Metroplex. No tornados, hurricanes, and hail here, just great weather year-round. Have been here 4 months and love this RV Park! Very quiet at night, clean and affordable on my fixed income. Recently remodeled RV park with packed gravel roads and RV pads. Extra wide sites have plenty of room for your RV, truck/car and outside stuff. All sites have picnic tables, and several have nice shade trees. Great Value for full time RVer's or just stopping for the night. The access to I-10 is the best in all Las Cruses.

Super Cheap RV Park in New Mexico! Less than $32.00 a night with discount, right off of I-10 in Las Cruces. The Coachlight Inn Motel and RV Park is a diamond in desert. The motel is under major multiyear renovation, and all RV sites are discounted until completion. Virgina the manager is super helpful at check-in, and now in NM, cannabis is legal. I asked her if I could smoke in my RV, and she said as long as you are over 21, and smoke inside your RV, you are completely legal. My wife and I smoked weed, with the windows open, and police cars would drive by and patrol the park. What a wonderful feeling not to be paranoid! Might relocate to the region, Las Cruces kicks butt, has a low cost of living, and the climate is totally awesome! On our way out, Virgina told me monthly rates are only $500, all bills paid!

Cheap Clean RV Park in NM. Major construction on the motel, so RV Spots are discounted. Best on/off access to I-10 of any RV park from Louisiana to California. There is a cafe with decent food right next door, and fuel across the freeway.

Great Rates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you belong to a RV travel club, this place is a fast cheap stop on your cross-country trip. Las Cruses is basically the halfway point from Dallas TX to LA CA. The on-off from I10 was super easy for Extra-long RV and trailer. Fuel and service across hiway. New owners and management so don't let the outdated scary reviews turn you away from this place. If you don't stop here, you have to cross the desert and drive all night to Tucson before there is another easy on/off RV Park.

Crazy Cheap RV site Right off of I-10! Only $500 total move in for the monthly rate with free electricity and Wi-Fi! First exit after the desert (Exit 139) coming into Las Cruses. Truck stops across freeway.

Clean and Cheap. Best overnight rate for full hook up drive thru was under $30 for the night. The motel doesn't look so great, but the RV Park is very nice and all sites discounted due to the motel construction.

A lot has changed since the negative reviews years ago. The entire motel and RV Park complex is under new owners and management. Currently the motel is under construction, and does not look that great, but the RV Park is great and very low cost! Monthly rates are currently only $500.00 per month with free electricity and Full Hookups. And all 33 pull through sites have 50Amp service, unlike the majority of discount RV parks in the area. During the construction at the motel, all RV sites are discounted, and there is no move in deposit for monthly tenants. The RV Park feeds the doves, and they hang out in the trees next to the RV spots, so lots of nice sounds in morning and night. Mountain views on east side of park.

Great Nightly rate with Discount. My extra wide pull-thru full hookup site was only $32 with my AAA discount. All remaining RV spots of this recently renovated RV park are discounted due to the construction at the motel. There is food onsite next to the check-in to the RV Park. Truck stops on other side of freeway keep traffic and noise to a minimum, considering how close to I-10 this park is located. Fantastic Las Cruces location, this is the first RV Park after crossing the continental divide, and the first exit to Las Cruses.

Great cheap RV spot in Las Cruces! The motel is going through a major multiyear renovation, so the RV park is highly discounted. RV Park is right off I-10 exit 139. There are two truck stops on other side of the HI way. Lady at front desk is a doll and friendly. All 33 sites are extra wide pull-throughs, with full 50 Amp service. My site #17, had a nice tree with picnic table. The Las Cruces police drive through the park on a schedule, so I feel very safe, even though the motel section looks a little shady during construction. The RV Park is completely surrounded by fencing and/or walls. The entire park has lights and security cameras throughout. If you are a woman, traveling alone in an RV and need to stop for the night before crossing the desert, this is the place to stop.

This is the lowest cost RV Park in the entire state of New Mexico! Monthly rates are currently discounted to only $500.00 a month, with no deposit or move in fees. Free 50Amp Electricity, free decent Wi-Fi, in a safe clean extra wide pull thru site. The sites on the east side (Sites 9,18 and 32) have mountain views of the Organ Needles Peaks. Super easy on/off from I-10 for extra-long RVs with toads in tow, or large trailers. The Pit Stop Cafe next door is awesome for brunch on weekends. A local favorite with good burgers and Mexican food. Virgina the manager is super helpful and gave us lots of valuable info and insights to the Las Cruces area, and social support networks for low-income individuals. This place is packed for winter, due to the outstanding climate. All dust storms are normally south near the Vado/Anthony area on I-10, and most of the storms and snow fall is to the north. Been here 4 months so far, saving our limited fixed income.

This park is a work in progress. The description is not even close to accurate. Personally I was shocked. Not worth even the discounted rate of $26.

Do not stay here! Our first night (12/10/19) our 50 amp power went off at 5:40 pm. After numerous calls to office and promises of help...no one came! We were told we could move from space 5 to space 6. Problem....it is dark now and temps below freezing, we do not have enough power to pull in 4 heavy slides on 40ft 5th wheel or to pull up 6 hydraulic legs....so we spend all night in bed with many blankets trying to stay warm. In the sunlight next morning, we run extension cord to space 6 and pack up everything and move. I then go to the office and ask for refund of 1st night. Today is 12/14/19, we leave tomorrow and we have no refund. AND NOT ONCE has anyone called or come to our site! I've been to the office 2x daily to no avail. The office person doesn't know how to do a refund and the owner (supposedly) does not return calls. I have put a dispute through to my credit card company for the refund now. This is a PA Park and the refund I am requesting is only $24.99....but it is the principal of NO ONE in this park caring anything about customer service and the very very cold night we and our pets spent here. So take my advice and do not stay in this park....they do not deserve your business!!! And if you do....don't say I didn't warn you!! PS ... it's been a known fact for some time that there was an issue with the 50 amp box at this site.......

Dont stay there, we had a terrible experiance with the manager Karen. I firmly believe this lady is constantly High on drugs, or abusing some kind of substance. We rang the bell at 9am after calling ahead of time the previous day. After six rings with a big rig iddling, she finaly yelled from the blacony, IM COMING ALREADY! It was then four people looked over the edge, all were just staring at me, i felt very uncomfortable. This place is a shady buisness deal. She actualy made us get cash fron the petro station. We decided on only paying for two nites. On the third day we couldnt reach the woman, she was nowere to be found, apparently nobody else can take a payment. We ended up staying an extra day for free cause we could not reach the office all day on a WEDNESDAY ! Roachlight, we will never stay there again, what a terrible experiance. P.s, the cops were there all nite last nite. The motel staff, are all doing drugs.

Campground Response

I am terribly sorry that you felt so uncomfortable. I will not lie to you or anyone else. When you arrived I was on very strong pain meds. I had been bitten by a brown recluse spider and was in huge amounts of pain. I apologize for the inconvienience you had when we requested cash but at the time our credit card machine was not working. We now have an entirely brand new system for tv's and credit cards. No one else knew how to take a payment because they were 1)family, 2)VISITING & finally 3)TEENAGERS! They came to check on me not to try to run this business.i again apologize for any delay, discomfort or upset my illness may have caused you or anyone else. I had sent my maintenance man around to my RV guests, maybe you missed one another but he was to explain that as my way of saying thanks to all my nightly guests, I was comping each of you 1night. I was trying to say thank you for your understanding. I did not realize that by doing soi would be accused of being on illegal drugs etc. Yes, the police were here. Again thank you very much for asking about it instead of just putting it out there to make us look bad. The local police departments responded to a auto accident on the freeway, someone involved in the accident was thrown from the vehicle and had wandered off from the scene. Yes they came here and checked rooms and our surrounding property, they also (what you didn't see) came into my office, checked up on my bite, visited with me, had coffee and also checked in with all the neighbors that have homes behind us. So again, my apologies for everything that upset or disturbed your sensibilities. I will try harder to keep from upsetting anyone. Also just in case you were wondering,, they did find the young man in one of the fields close to the accident site. He had head trauma and had passed out. Unfortunately, by the time they found him it was to late. Our sympathies to his family.

This is a basic park to use overnight or for a couple days. It filled up each night we were there. Located behind a rather basic motel, it is certainly not a resort, but it offers 33 FHU, level pull through sites. Yes, about half the sites are filled with long term residents, but there are quite a few left for short term RVers, and yes, it is in a desert and is gravel, but some sites have trees that provide some afternoon shade, and each site has a picnic table. We stayed for two nights using a Passport America discount. No cable TV but we got several OTA channels. The restrooms and laundry were all clean, and an added perc was they offered free ice. Their free WiFi actually worked too! In fact, we were able to update all our electronic devices, something we have been unable to do in several parks before this that cost twice as much or even more that the PA rate here. We did not go to the restaurant but noted lots of cars there for breakfast each morning. There is also a pool shared with motel guests; we did not use it since we were out touring both days. We want to return to visit more in the Las Cruces area, and will use this little basic park again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
