The Circuit of the Americas RV Park is located in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country, enjoying some of Austin's best landscape, local attractions and amenities. Campers at the park can look forward to a packed roster of the region's best races and sporting events, as well as concerts hosted by both local and international performers. Just beyond the campground, visitors can expect a number of excellent attractions; for the nature enthusiasts, there's no shortage of green spaces for hiking, biking, horseback riding, sunset viewing and stargazing, such as the Zilker Botanical Gardens and Park, Barton Creek Springs and the Austin Greenbelt. There's also several lakes and rivers for paddle boarding, canoeing, boating, fishing and kayaking. For the urban adventurer, it's only a short drive from the campground to enjoy some of the area's best food and entertainment. Travelers can take advantage of excellent shopping and dining at places like Franklin's Barbecue, the original Kerbey Lane and a host of other eateries filled with local flavors. And of course, the city's historic Sixth Street District is known for its world-class live music, dancing, bars and beautiful architecture and cobble-stone streets. Any public drunkenness, disorderly conduct or other criminal activity will result in immediate expulsion from the camping area and possible arrest.
Easy-up tents that are secured to the group are permitted, but COTA reserves the right to take down tents if wind speeds exceed 15 MPH. Awnings attached to RVs are permitted provided it's within the designated space. External stereo or television speakers are permitted as long as the do not disturb other guests. Vehicle and generator exhaust must be expelled away from other camp sites; 30 amp generators are permitted. RV and tow passes are non-transferable and cannot be duplicated. The speed limit inside the park is 7 MPH and is strictly enforced. Guests are asked to place trash and recycling in the appropriate receptacles. No reserving unoccupied spaces. Fire lanes are to be kept free at all times and vehicles occupying those spaces will be towed at the owner's expense. For additional rules, please see the Circuit of the Americas website.
All patrons are responsible for their own safety and the safety of others; COTA is not responsible for actions that endanger your safety and the safety of others. COTA is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property. The park reserves the right to change any parking pattern deemed unsafe. All RV and tow passes must be displayed in plain view of parking attendants - lost or stolen RV or tow passes will not be be replaced and only one tow vehicle pass is allowed per space. Additional passes may be purchased separately.
The following items are not prohibited at the park: open fires, grills, candle balloons, kits, sky lanterns, firearms, fireworks, weapons, DJs, bullhorns, stage lights, live bands, rental trucks, enclosed-hauling trucks, box trucks, cargo trucks, gasoline storage, non-COTA advertising, swimming pools, hot tubs, personal transportation vehicles like ATVs and fully enclosed parking patterns.
Quiet times are enforced between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am.
