Quiet, very large level sites, dish and Verizon work well, close to Marquette, camp hosts are very nice and helpful. Laundry has only 2 small washers and dryers so we went to town. We would stay here again

Kind of an odd place to stay. When you arrive and pull up to the "office" there is no one there. There is a phone number you call and they confirm you have a reservation and tell you to just go out and pick a spot wherever you like. This campground is really nothing but a parking lot with a bath/shower/laundry building. There is nothing to do at the park itself. We only used it for an overnight stop so it did what it needed to for us but I really can't imagine this as a destination campground.

Nice campground. Extremely rude camp-host. We called to let her know our reservation confirmation said 30/50 amp. But we only had 30. She immediately started yelling that “ she was sick of getting calls like this and nothing she could do”

Enjoyed our stay at the park. Site was very level, hookups were great as far as placement. For Labor Day weekend, it was well occupied, but quiet. Site was large and spacious and you were not right next to your neighbor. Now the problems. No WiFi and cell service (Verizon at least) was very poor. Now I'm not the brightest lamp in the house, but check in was a little confusing. Showers were clean, but one did have a drainage problem. The laundry had one washing machine that worked, but the other did not spin well enough to get the water out of the clothes and the room needed a little more cleaning than just sweeping the floor. The road coming in was hard pack dirt but that was no problem, but it is due for a scrapping but the county. Marquette is about a 20 minute drive, but if you live in any medium to large city, that is just around the block. We did use a laundromat in Marquette that was near the Walmart when we first got there because of the large loads we had. All in all we enjoyed our stay. If your a golfer, bring you clubs. Nice course at the entrance to the campground.

The site is fairly new, so no trees in the camp sites, bath house was clean, and staff is amazing. we had multiple changes and extensions, and they were very accommodating.

Site #9 ~ The men's bathroom and showers are much cleaner than my last visit in 2023. Thank you! I had a minor vehicle accident at this campsite. When I drove in I was slowly driving my car into the site looking for a LEVEL place to pitch it. Then, BOOM! My right front fender hit the steel and concrete fire pit ring. I'll have to have the entire lower front 'bra' replaced; the mud guard in the wheel well; probably replace flat tire sensor; and, who knows what else? WHY did I run into the fire pit? Well, the pit is lower than it's surrounding area ~ at the bottom of the lowest point in the site. It is nearly impossible to see where the pit is located from a sedan or low riding vehicle. Granted, I was distracted by looking for a LEVEL spot to pitch my tent, but having a fire pit located unseen at the bottom of a buffalo wallow made it impossible to see.

We have been staying here for the last 3 or 4 years. It has improved every year. New fire rings and picnic tables. It's still dusty and bald there. I think it will get better with time. There are young trees planted.

Just need a little more grass. But they are trying to get it growing

It was a nice campground with everything we needed. It looks brand new in regard to the amenities and will be nicer when they get more grass. As a side note I don’t like using Rover Pass!!! I’ve had to use it at multiple campgrounds this year and it is usually a disaster or near disaster!

Comfortable rustic RV camp outside of Marquette, MI. Easily booked online, and check-in was a breeze. We loved the wilderness setting and the peace and quiet. Access to the golf course was an unexpected plus. If you like country settings, try Chocolay River on your next trip.

Negative stars if it were an option. We were reserved for a site that didn't exist, #51. Super dirty sites, no grass. Not sure how your reservation process works since there was not a site reserved and anyone can pull in at anytime. Luckily we got in early and we're able to get a site. We saw rvs that had been there for a very, very long time, grass was overgrowing in their sites. Not the type of campground we are accustomed to.

Camped by tent. Site was clean and quiet. Had deer walking behind the tent. We were not far from the bath house. Restroom was clean and built recently, the shower was good and hot. Walking trail on property was nice. Good location 3 miles from town of Harvey. Will stay here again.

Newly refurbished campground. Campsite is VERY spacious in length and width. Fire rings are brand new and on a concrete slab. Only complaint is this: the road in and out is very rough (washboard effect). It bounces your vehicle and RV quite a bit...making things fall, move too much, or break during the journey. Laundry is a nice facility. The campground owners spray down the main roads around the inside of the sites area with water each afternoon to help cut down on the dust clouds caused by vehicles as they move around the campground. Contact phone number was answered quickly and questions or concerns were handled immediately. I would stay again if in this area.

Nice, quiet park that is conveniently located near a golf course, casino, lake access turnouts, the city of Marquette, bike trails, etc. Great place for the price; we would definitely come back. We checked in later in the day; Paul (one of the owners) was very friendly and helpful getting us set up via phone. *It does get a little dusty, but nothing that a small broom and dustpan can't take care of

The tent sites at this RV park surpassed our expectations! The sites and the bathrooms were clean, and the park was conveniently located for all the adventuring that we wanted to do in the Marquette and Munising areas. There was no picnic table, so come prepared with camp chairs. The drinking fountains also were not functioning, so bring your own drinking and washing water.

I was lucky to get thru to someone the afternoon I arrived to find my site. My site was not preassigned when I registered two months before. Arrived to a vacant office with a telephone number to call. When I called the next day, no one returned my call, I call again. Staff was pleasant. The owner is leaving the campground to his sons, which have a lot to learn. There should be a registration system for sites on line. No trees, just a vacant flat gravel piece of property with pull throughs. All sites did have water, electric and dumps.

If you are looking for a groomed campsite keep driving. On the other hand, the sites are large and full service and it’s located close to a nice golf course and 10 mins to Marquette. The bathrooms were clean.

Good location close to bike trail and not too far from downtown Marquette. Not a lot of staff around to help there was no one in the office any time we checked. Also the water pressure and cold temperature of the shower was less than desirable.

They have made improvements to this campground. The have added more space between the sites. Nice quiet place.

Rustic tent sites were very good and surrounded by wild blueberries. A bit of a walk to the well maintained building containing the modern restrooms, showers and laundry area. Enjoyed our 3 nights there. We would stay again.

Easy access off M28 right behind and walking distance from NMU's very nice golf course. Great for large RVs for a quick overnight pit stop. ATV trails everywhere and NTN bike path/trailhead connected. Back road to casino! Close to a Lake Superior beach access. Marquette 6 miles away, grocery and gas less than 3 miles. Blueberry season now 7/12....endless picking steps away from your site. Clean showers and bathrooms. River access for kayaking/canoeing/sup. Cool sunrises. Quiet

Overall adequate RV park. Many of the long term residents don't observe ANY speed limits. No wi-fi. Fairly new park. Only two washers and dryers. We had a problem with one washer not spinning, but I could have overloaded, however I moved the same load to the other washer without a problem. If I stayed again, I would not book online. No place to put in your Good Sam number to get credit. Just wait and pay when you arrive. Plenty of empty spaces.

It seems to be a work in progress. Nothing fancy. Someone needs to take a good look at the laundry room. It's a mess. Some of the outlets on the pedestals are upside down. It makes it hard to plug in a surge protector or heavy cord.

Newer park. Cement work at bath house indicates 2018 construction. Level camping spots. Negatives are following. No on sight management. Office has note on door instructing self check in. Very little grassy areas. Bathrooms unkept and dirty. Door handles fall off. Water psi very low. Inside shower door is note saying call this # if showers need servicing. We called with no change in cleanliness. Very expensive for what you get. Park owners appear to have run out of $ as remnants of discarded construction material left on site. There has to be a better park near by!!
