The Canyon Gateway RV Park is located in the beautiful town of Williams and is a great place for a quiet, easy-going Arizona vacation. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby attractions like the Williams' golf course, seven fishing lakes, historical tours available, great local restaurants and the Forest Boundar & Cataract Creek. Area attractions are popular among out of state travelers, so campers can expect an outdoor drive-thru wildlife refuge, historic Route 66 and the Route 66 cafe, and the canyon railway. Amenities at the park include: tent camping, water, sewerage, WIFI, 30/50 amp sites, restrooms, laundry facilities, satellite TV, picnic tables, pull thrus, big rig access and showers. Rate is $52 a day as of January 12, 2022, and there is no discount for AAA or Good Sam as stated! There is no laundry facility or working cable as stated! Apparently only 30 amp is available as well at this time. Campsites are very tight/small, and muddy (more rock or concrete would solve mud problem). There are large trucks operating above and adjacent to the park at all hours with periodic loud speaker voice broadcasts. Except for the broadcasts, the noise level is similar to spending the night at a rest stop adjacent to a highway. At $52 a day, this park is over priced. Given the lack of advertized amenities and condition/smallness of the RV campsite, $25 to $35 a day would be reasonable. What the park does have going for it is that it's open this time of year in this part of northern Arizona.
