Caney Creek RV Resort & Marina

This is not a Resort more like an upscale trailer park even looks like a couple small mobile homes. Very discouraging. Lots of decks and out building's and pop up tents. Lady at pool I felt singled us out because we are not a permanent resident because her friends were doing the same thing and nothing was said to them. Seems the rules do not apply to all. We were a ways away from park and pool so decided to drive but couldn’t find parking. Think all the long term use all the additional parking. Rules stated no boat trailers on sites but seen multiple.wifi is pretty much non existent and not offered in new addition. Cell service was very spotty. Older bath house key pad didn’t work. The young lady in office was dressed very inappropriate for a resort. Kids unsupervised in office and at pool and throughout park wondering onto sites . People did not pick up after animals. Dog park was nasty, laundry had pet hair all over washer and dryers, change machine had no change. The older lady in office was very nice about giving us change. Office/store was not very well stocked have to go off site to get items needed. Thought it would be nice and secure because it’s gated but noticed lots of people tailgating through the gate. Online it showed kids crafts but none was offered during our stay. Playground definitely needs update. For the price there should be better amenities. We will more than likely not be back.
