Bing Brown's is more than a RV Park. We have guests who come back year after year, making the park more of a community with lots of great fishing stories. New owners took over 6 years ago and have made many updates to the property and continue to do so. Currently with 15 full hook-up, 9 electric only and lots of dry camping, with future plans of additional sites. We are the halfway point between Homer and Seward at mile 81 on the Sterling Hwy. 1/2 Mile from Bing's Landing with some of the best Red and Trout fishing on the Kenai. Fully stocked liquor and tackle stores on site.

Don’t Park Blocking Roads Or Other Sites

Always be mindful of where you park your vehicle, ensuring it doesn’t encroach on someone else’s space or a common pathway.

Treat Campground Facilities Like Your Own

Just as you would clean up after yourself at home, leaving these spaces clean and tidy is a basic courtesy that ensures everyone can use and enjoy them.

Respect Wildlife

Observe animals from a distance, never feed them, and avoid disturbing their habitats. It is essential for their welfare and all guest of the park.

Don’t Cut Branches/Bushes

The beauty of camping lies in the untouched nature that surrounds you. Cutting branches or bushes for your use is not only damaging to the environment, but it also diminishes the natural charm of the campsite.

Importing firewood might seem harmless, but it can have serious ecological consequences. Firewood can be purchased at the campground,

Have Fun But Know Your Limits

Camping is all about having fun and experiencing new adventures. However, it’s also important to know your limits. You should be prepared before attempting challenging hikes or water activities.

Control Your Pets

Always keep your pets under control and on a leash. Most pet owners do a great job of cleaning up after their pets. But we still see people who don’t clean up. Not cool.

Don’t Burn Trash

Burning trash isn’t just a smelly annoyance; it’s also a serious environmental concern.

Completely Extinguish Fires

Keeping everyone safe and preventing potential forest fires is essential.

Keep Your Site Clean

Maintaining cleanliness at your campsite is not just about aesthetics; it’s also about safety and respect for nature.

Respect Other Campers Space

Camping is a communal experience, yet it’s important to remember everyone has their own personal space.

The Sterling Highway begins at the Tern Lake Junction of the Seward Highway and stretches 142 miles to the town of Homer. While the highway is open year round, it is much busier during the summer months, as it leads to some of the best fishing spots along the Kenai River. The Kenai area is known as “Alaska’s Playground”, so in addition to fishing you will find a wealth of outdoor activities such as canoeing, rafting, flightseeing, horseback riding, hiking, and more.
