Nestled within the scenic beauty of Bear Lake, Michigan, our three premium RV sites offer an unparalleled camping experience. Each site boasts an expansive 70′ x 30′ pad, providing ample space for even the largest rigs, and a durable crushed gravel and sand base ensures level and stable parking.

Full hookups are standard, including reliable 30 amp electrical service, fresh water access, and convenient septic service. For those cozy evenings, a dedicated fire pit and picnic table are provided, creating the perfect setting for outdoor meals and campfire stories.

Guests also enjoy access to a meticulously maintained bath house, featuring three full bathrooms, a fun game area, and a comfortable wifi and work space, ensuring both relaxation and connectivity. Firewood is available for purchase, allowing for hassle-free campfires.

Beyond the individual site amenities, Bear Woods Resort offers a tranquil escape into nature. Our property features 65 acres of woods, trails, and ponds filled with northern Michigan wildlife. The surrounding area of Bear Lake provides opportunities for hiking, fishing, golf, and exploring charming local communities. The combination of well-maintained facilities, spacious sites, and access to modern conveniences makes these RV sites ideal for both short getaways and extended vacations. During your visit, you will have access to all of Bear Woods Resort, including our famous Tinker Log Playground, dog park, hiking trails, and ponds. We are a family-owned, fully operational campground dedicated to helping you make lasting memories in Northern Michigan.

Rustic camping doesn’t have to mean “difficult.” While these sites are non-electric to preserve the peaceful atmosphere, you aren’t on your own. A short 500 ft meadow walk leads you to “The Bin,” our impressive bath house, featuring private showers, restrooms, dish washing station, and high-speed Wi-Fi. It’s the perfect balance of a rugged outdoor experience and the modern comforts that make a vacation easy.

Our rustic camping sites are situated in a charming shared area alongside two of our glamping tents, creating a small community feel while maintaining your own private space. This area is available for individual and group bookings.

Step inside to discover a cozy living space with a king-size bed, a pull-out sleeper sofa, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, hot/cold water dispenser, and coffee maker, allowing you to prepare simple meals and snacks.

Relax and unwind in the inviting living area, adorned with classic camping decor and comfortable furnishings. The large windows and skylight flood the space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while the AC unit will keep you cool all summer long.

Outdoor living

This cabin features a private picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs just steps outside your front door. Firewood is available for purchase. You will also receive access to the entire Bear Woods property complete with ponds, outdoor grill station, trails, and numerous outdoor activities.

Parking is available right by the cabins. There are two units separated by our spacious parking and open space area. Perfect for anyone looking to book with friends!

Shared bath house

Both camping cabins are a short walk to the shared bathhouse that has three full private bathrooms, complete with towels and toiletries. The bath house also serves as a gathering space equipped with a large porch, game area, laundry, and a dedicated workspace with Wi-Fi, perfect for those who need to stay connected.

Our spacious tent is thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind, offering a variety of sleeping arrangements perfect for couples or families.
