The Bastrop KOA is located in the beautiful Bastrop County and is a great spot for an authentic outdoor adventure. Sitting on the banks of the Colorado River, the campground is ideal among water sport-enthusiasts. Travelers can enjoy fishing, rafting, canoeing, kayaking and plenty of animals near the river's edge for wildlife viewing. Campers can also look forward to a number of attractions just outside of the park including Lake Bastrop which is a popular spot for fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The Lost Pines Forest is another excellent outdoor spot, and is ideal for the scenic photographer hidden inside every traveler. Other great attractions include the Texas Reptile Zoo, Bastrop County Museum and Visitor Center and the Colorado River Preserve. The surrounding area is also a hub for great local eateries and sights, so many visitors leave the grounds for a day to explore the town.
