Tell it like it is. First the staff are great. Park location bad. Dusty unpaved sites and roads. Sites are to close. Sorry WiFi. Sorry phone reception. There is nothing in Ehrenberg. Laundry is to expensive but clean. No propane anywhere near and the mail needs some improvements. Maybe a table to put packages on not on the floor and in some more organized manner. Just across the River you come into California and here you find the most unfriendliness people I have ever come into contact with. This was my first and last time I visit this area. But as always the RVers where like RVers are. Friendly and interesting. And lest I forget. The whole area including the state and Calif area looks depressed and rundown. The roads and highways are a washboard. Terrible driving on. Wasted tax payer taxes. Fix the damn roads. Like I said my first and last time there. Trash along the freeways looks like you are in a third world country. What a sorry area to call home.

Big shout to Kelli, Shannon and Marcia! They are amazing and so helpful with every detail, and truly made us feel SO welcome! This place is amazing, neat as a pin. Pool was awesome (heated), access to the river and the beach is so easy. Beach volleyball court, hammocks and a fire pit are set up perfectly. Off-road riding is a big thing for us, and there is a great riding area nearby. In a nutshell, this place is a gem, the people are awesome, we are coming back as soon as we can!

This really is an oasis and the staff here is not only friendly and helpful but they make sure that everyone is happy and getting everything they need to have a memorable stay. I know I can’t forget their hospitality. The park itself was not only beautiful but it had a really nice design and was nicely maintained. The amenities gave us everything we needed for the duration of our stay and they offer some nice activities that were fun for the whole family. I personally enjoyed taking a stroll with my family and just gazing at the beautilful nature that surrounded the park. It really was a great location, not for the scenery but for everything that you can get to in a short drive! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Formerly Colorado River Oasis Our Visits 4/2008, 11/16/2009, 3/12-3/19/2012, 2/5-2/7/2014, 9/18/2014, 11/30/2014, 4/6/2016 2016 Update - The resort is now a non-member park but still accepts our Coast to Coast membership, now charging $15 per night with NO additional charges. In November 2013 the Manthei family purchased the park, they own Sky Valley and Caliente Springs in the Desert Hot Springs area. There does not seem to be many changes, still maintained well kept with lots of activities going on. The staff is priceless and we would still highly recommend it and we would stay here again if we are ever in the area. They now have a new restaurant, the River Shack located in the clubhouse where we had the Blue Moon Burger that was awesome and the fries were fabulous. They make everything by scratch and it shows in the great taste. Our first visit in 2008 was a complimentary 4 night stay with a 90-minute tour scheduled during our stay. This is part of the WHR private membership and we are now able to utilize our Coast to Coast membership for our stays. In 2012 we paid $10 per night with no additional 50amp or cable charges for a water, electric, sewer, flat, gravel, back in site with a concrete pad patio. The sites were a good size for us. On our first visit we had our Jeep which took some manipulating to make it all fit. We noticed many other toad vehicles parked on empty sites which could cause complications of incoming guests. Our Verizon phones and MiFi worked great here. Very well maintained park right on the Colorado River which on this visit did not have much activity on it, during our visit in 2008 it was noisy all day with constant watercraft noise. The pool and spa was fabulous, clean and the perfect temperature. Doing laundry was nice because they had a lounge area with puzzles and a television. The only issue was there were several out of order machines which made our chore more time consuming. They had lots of activities which we did partake in a few and had a blast. This is one of those parks where there is a lot of participation in the activities and we can see why. We attended Bingo and Karaoke and fun was had by one and all. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here as long as they continue honoring Coast to Coast.
