Apache Kid RV Park

Chloride is a silver mining ghost town, and home to the Apache Kid RV Park. The park is small and secluded, so take advantage of the wonderful New Mexico quiet and especially the knowledgeable staff who are like walking history books. Some visitors like to visit the nearby cemetery which has some interesting headstones, but everyone should swing by the museum; it's well worth it. The artist coop has excellent displays and all reasonably priced. It's a great place to get souvenirs. There's one beautifully restored historic cabin, so call in early to reserve.
Apache Kid RV Park facilities include: toilets, a pet area shaded spots, full hookups, 30 amp spots, pull thrus, water and sewerage. This little park is steeped in history and beauty and is definitely a great spot to getaway for a weekend!

This campground is very, very, very small. Literally there are only 5 sites. But that doesn’t mean it’s not something amazing or has potential. The sites had full hookups, were level and were rather quiet in a nice shaded spot. The owners are really pleasant and can talk your ear off (in a polite and warming way) I could talk to them for hours. The location is great as there are quite a few attractions nearby – I liked the artist coop. Overall this may be a small campground, be called a ghost town by the locals, but this is one of the best times we have had with our children and I would recommend everyone to check it out at least once! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
